Family & legacy
In 1973 Haj Mohammad Hussein Mobarsham opened a kiosk of barely 18 square metres beside the school, close to the Acre seafront. His wife, Kawkab Ahmad Al-Haj Mobarsham, worked at his side, and their son joined from childhood — from the age of eleven he prepared in the morning, went to school, then came back to the kiosk. From sandwiches for schoolchildren to a table of fresh fish sought out by the people of Acre and its visitors, the place grew step by step into today's modern restaurant with a sea view and its own gallery — carrying the very same spirit it began with.
