The Little Kiosk Beside the School
Haj Mohammad Hussein Mobarsham opened a kiosk of about 18 square metres beside the school, close to the Acre seafront, serving students sandwiches, drinks, ice cream, sweets and light food.

A story that began in 1973 in a small kiosk beside the school, near the Acre seafront, and grew with the city and its people into one of Acre's most established seafood tables.
The family
A Mother and a Son at the Heart of It
Kawkab Ahmad Al-Haj Mobarsham worked alongside the founder, and their son Mobarsham Mohammad Mobarsham took part from childhood. From the age of eleven he prepared in the morning, went to school, then returned to work at the kiosk.
Late 1970s — 1977
From a Kiosk to a Restaurant
The kiosk no longer served only schoolchildren: in the afternoon tables and chairs were set out for visitors to the seafront. From 1977 the gradual shift toward a restaurant began, adding fish and meats and expanding both service and space.
1984 — 1994
Expansion After Expansion
In 1984 came a first expansion of roughly 180 square metres, and growth continued until the restaurant reached about 330 square metres in 1994 — a defining stage in its history. In 1997 Haj Mobarsham Mohammad Mobarsham took full ownership and management.
2020 — today
A Modern Building and a Sea View
In 2020 the restaurant took a major leap: a new modern building and a full redevelopment with a beautiful sea view and its own gallery, bringing together a long history and a contemporary experience. Today, more than five decades on, Mobarsham remains an established name in Acre, with the same hospitality that began in a small kiosk.
